YNOT Announces Nominees for 2018 YNOT Cam Awards
YNOT Events has announced the nominees for the 2018 YNOT Cam Awards have been chosen. With the announcement, the voting period is now open and fans, cam models and adult industry professionals can cast their votes for their favorite nominees.
“We received an overwhelming response from both the cam model and the clips artist communities, which is incredibly exciting for us here at YNOT,” said Connor Young, CEO of YNOT. “Throughout the course of the 3-week nominee suggestion period, we received hundreds of submissions each and every day, thousands overall. We were humbled to see so many of our industry’s awesome performers on social media showing enthusiasm and excitement for the YNOT Cam Awards and for its initiative to put a well-earned spotlight on the interactive sector of adult entertainment and its performers.”
With 19 categories and only 5 nominees per category, a total of only 95 performers are now in the running for a 2018 YNOT Cam Award. Considering the fact there are tens of thousands of performers out there who were eligible to be nominated, Young noted the nominees represent “a very elite group.”
“It was always our intention to make the YNOT Cam Awards both highly competitive and representative of the entire adult webcam and custom clips artist communities,” Young said. “I’m thrilled that the nominee list is so diverse. Nominees can be excited to know they were amongst the few who were selected from thousands of awesome performers. “For those who were not selected this year, a very sincere thank you for participating in the nomination process, we appreciate and respect all of you. We hope you will support your favorite nominees and that we’ll see many of you walking the red carpet for the 2019 show.”
To reach the voting page and cast a vote, a YNOT ID account is required. Voters who already have their YNOT ID account setup should login at Awards.YNOTCam.com to go straight to the voting page. Those without a YNOT ID can first create one at www.YNOTID.com.
According to Mugur of Studio20, the YNOT Cam Awards is a unique and valuable opportunity for nominated models, and also the studios and cam networks that support them, to develop deeper relationships with their fans.
“We are so excited to see voting for the YNOT Cam Awards starting,” Mugur said. “All of the Studio 20 models who were nominated for this amazing event, plus all 18 of our studios and over 1000 colleagues around the world, are looking forward to this opportunity to interact with the fans. A cam award is the perfect opportunity for fans to show their love and appreciation for models and is a perfect moment to give back to models for that amazing happiness they offer their members every single day.”
Young agreed that the YNOT Cam Awards is about more than a single night, regardless of how special that night will be.
“Engagement and enthusiasm are important metrics for us and should be a factor for deciding who wins, so we’re inviting people to vote as often as once per day for their favorite cam performers and clips artists,” explained Young. “Each day at midnight Hollywood time we will reset the voting page, allowing YNOT ID account holders to vote again. This will give nominees with engaged supporters a valuable edge. That means over the course of the voting period, a single engaged supporter can register more than 50 votes for his or her favorite nominees.”
The level of participation is a clear sign that adult interactive entertainment is constantly growing. As the importance of interactive continues to grow, the importance of showing appreciation to its performers becomes clear.
“We’re thrilled to have some of our talented models nominated for different categories in this first show,” said Jamie Rodriguez from Flirt4Free. “We know how hard our models work all year long and look forward to seeing them shine.”
All performers who were suggested for nominations this year should keep an eye out for more details coming soon from YNOT regarding the show in October, as well what comes next with the voting process.
