Red Carpet Details
Note, this page has information for the 2019 show and is not yet updated for 2020. You can read it to get a general idea of how it works, but keep in mind these details will get updated before the 2020 show.
Communication is important to YNOT. With that in mind, we’re pleased to pass on to everyone the details for the Red Carpet Event for the 2nd annual YNOT Cam Awards in Hollywood.
Please note that the Red Carpet is primarily for nominees, industry performers, and guests/dates of nominees and performers. While we are not outright prohibiting others from walking, please note that if you are not a nominee or performer (or a guest walking with a nominee or performer) then you might be de-prioritized in the queue, depending on how many people are waiting to walk.
While fans are allowed to watch the Red Carpet from Vine Street if they want, they are not allowed to attend the YNOT Cam Awards.
When and where will it happen?
The Red Carpet will start on August 7th at 5:30 pm in front of the Avalon Hollywood, which is on Vine Street and about a block up from the intersection of Hollywood & Vine. If you are attending #Cammunity model summit, this is a short 5-minute walk from the W Hollywood Hotel.
How long will the Red Carpet event last?
The red carpet will run until 7:00pm. If you are in the queue by 7:00pm then you can walk, but anyone arriving after 7:00pm will not be able to queue up and will instead need to go straight inside.
What’s the best way to arrive at the Avalon for the Red Carpet?
If you are a nominee and would like to arrive in style, we’re running limos from the W Hollywood Hotel to the Avalon Hollywood specifically for nominees and their guests. The service starts around 5pm, and the drivers will just make loops between the W and the Avalon, so if you miss the first one just hang tight out front until the next ride becomes available. Hot entrances make for hot pictures, so we encourage interested nominees to take advantage of this service.
If you plan to drive, there are paid parking lots next to the Avalon, and across the street, available on a first-come first-served basis.
If you’re staying at the W Hollywood and want to walk over, it’s just a 5-minute walk.
When will the dinner and entertainment start?
For all nominees and for all other attendees in the VIP sections, dinner will be available starting at 6:30pm and open bar as soon as they enter the venue. The pre-show entertainment will start by 7:30pm.
For anyone sitting in the balcony, please note this seating does not include dinner and drinks, but there is a cash bar available upstairs.
How should I dress?
The YNOT Cam Awards is a formal event, so please dress in your absolute best! This is a chance for the adult interactive community to make an impression and really shine in Hollywood.
What about Red Carpet interviews?
There are a number of people who will be conducting live interviews on the Red Carpet, and these interviews WILL BE streamed out live to fans around the world. You can choose not to participate in the interviews if you want, but we hope that you will do so if approached. Walking the red carpet does not guarantee that you will be interviewed.
There is a live stream?
Yup! We have a professional production company hired to live stream interviews and arrivals on the Red Carpet, and the stream will be available free of charge for fans to watch. Nominees and performers, please tell your fans, supporters and friends to visit awards.ynotcam.com/live starting at 5:30PM PDT on August 7th to look for your arrival on the Red Carpet and possibly a live interview.
Note there will be a break in the action following the Red Carpet, as the pre-show entertainment will not be live streamed. The live stream will pick up again when the award show starts at 8:30pm PDT.
What else should I expect?
There will also be a number of photographers around the red carpet. There will be a large press wall about halfway down the walk, and this is where many of the pictures and interviews will take place. Smile!
Important rules to remember!
There is no nudity allowed at this event, and anyone not respecting these rules will be immediately asked to leave. Please help us build a great relationship with the Avalon and their staff, the venue has been absolutely fantastic in working with us on this event and we appreciate them being both welcoming to our industry and excited to host the YNOT Cam Awards.
Also please bring your ID, as Avalon security will check to confirm your age. You must be 21 to drink, and PLEASE BE AWARE that anyone caught breaking the rules will be ejected by Avalon security, even nominees, so thank you for your cooperation in making this night go smoothly.
How do I get inside the venue?
At the end of the red carpet there will be a check-in table, just before entering the Avalon. If you have registered via the Eventbrite site then your seats are set, just give your name at the table and pickup your wristband and seating location.
You’re also set if one of the sponsors has a spot for you at their table and have submitted your name to us — confirm with the sponsor if you expect this is the case for you.
If you have not registered on Eventbrite and are not confirmed at a sponsor table, but you’re a nominee, then please contact YNOT urgently to get that fixed, otherwise you might be stuck with “best available” at the event and that could be less than ideal. Note though we will do everything in our power to make sure nominees are taken care of in Hollywood and feel appreciated and respected.
Please be aware that YNOT will be doing everything we can to make this event go smoothly for our nominees and guests. As with any event there are bound to be occasional hiccups, so we greatly appreciate your patience should anything not go 100% according to plan.
