In a nutshell, the process is this: 1) create a YNOT ID model account with a valid email that you actually check, 2) provide your YNOT ID username to supporters and ask them to suggest you, 3) make sure to accept/decline nomination suggestions when you’re notified about them via email. That’s all you need to do to be considered. We have written up detailed instructions on how to do these things, so take a look.
For the 2020 award season, all nominee suggestions must be received by end of day (PDT) on Friday, May 29th, no exceptions. You can start suggesting nominees beginning Monday, 4th.
For the 2020 award season, finalists will be announced on Monday, June 1st, and voting will begin as soon as that announcement has been made. Voting ends at the end of the day (PDT) on Friday, July 3rd.
Nope, not at all. While we appreciate whatever you might choose to do to raise awareness about the YNOT Cam Awards and our mission to recognize our hard-working on-cam performers and clips artists, your social media account is your own asset and we would never tell you how to use it.
Your level of support from others during the nominee suggestion period will be one of the biggest factors considered when determining whether you are a finalists in this year’s Cam Awards. Also under consideration will be your level of engagement with the industry, and whether you meet the requirements of the category. If you are selected as a finalist, please prepare to be engaged throughout the voting process as we’ll be asking you to provide things like profile pictures, responses to interview questions, biographical info, and possibly even video clips of you talking about your industry what what it means to you — these clips may be used in the Awards Show itself. If you work with us, we’ll do everything we can to highlight your unique personality, qualifications and accomplishments to fans, voters and to the industry.
One of the unique aspects of the YNOT Cam Awards is its inclusion of ‘Open’ award categories in the process. While some ‘Targeted’ categories allow only nominees of a specific gender to be considered, most of our categories are ‘Open’ and allow for nominees from any gender to compete. For example, the award for ‘Multi-Platform Master’ might include male, female or trans performers competing together.
July 22nd, 2020, at Avalon Hollywood, which is located at 1735 Vine Street in Hollywood just opposite the Capitol Records Building.
Although it’s a separate event, both are produced by YNOT and some attendees of #Cammunity have tickets to the Cam Awards included in their #Cammunity registration or sponsorship package. If you are not 100% sure you have tickets to the Cam Awards, but you are attending #Cammunity, contact YNOT for details.
All guests in the floor-level VIP seating will be treated to a full dinner service, yes. Dinner however is not included for guests not in VIP seating, only a cash bar, so if you’re sitting in these locations we recommend eating before you arrive.
All guests in the floor-level VIP seating will be treated to open bar throughout the night. For guests not in VIP seats, it is cash bar only.
Details will be announced as we get closer to the show.
Yes indeed, make sure to party with us into the night at location TBD, just after the awards show. We promise better music this time!
If you are a nominee, please contact YNOT for your specific details. For everyone else, please read our post on how to attend the YNOT Cam Awards in Hollywood for a detailed look at the options.
The YNOT Cam Awards is open only to adult industry executives, performers, and invited guests of nominees. YNOT will review the qualifications of each person requesting tickets. Any person or persons obtaining admission through fraudulent means are subject to immediate expulsion from the event with no refund.
General Admission seating is free to qualified adult industry professionals and performers. However you will not see these seats when you arrive on our ticket portal listing page on Eventbrite.com. To make these seats visible you will need an access code. Please use www.ynotsupport.com to open a ticket to request your access code. Please note we’ll need to validate that you work in the industry before supplying you with a code, so please if possible use a company email address instead of a free email service like Gmail or Yahoo, and provide us with some details about your industry role. If you don’t have a company email, for example cam performers, note that we may need to verify the one you give us with your cam network so please include where you cam.
If you are looking for VIP seating on the floor level with full dinner service and open bar, you can purchase these tickets on our website once tickets go on sale.
We do offer steep discounts for verified cam performers. If you are a cam performer who is not a nominee but who wants to attend, please contact us via ynotsupport.com to discuss discount options. We also offer discounts to current YNOT advertisers, so please ask your ad rep for a discount code.
We do welcome established media organizations, bloggers and photographers interested in providing coverage of the event. Please visit the Press and Media Information Page for required qualifications and details.
We typically arrange for discounted rooms at a local hotel, and we’ll provide that information as soon as it’s available.
Not at all. We recommend a certain hotel each year due to location and quality, but if you would like to stay elsewhere then you are of course free to do so.
We recommend guests avoid LAX if possible and instead fly into the Burbank airport, which is much closer to Hollywood.
The Red Carpet event starts at 5:30pm on Vine Street in front of the Avalon Hollywood. Pre-show entertainment and dinner for VIP guests will start around 7pm, and the Awards show itself will begin around 8:30pm. There will be an after-party at the venue that you won’t want to miss.
The YNOT Cam Awards is a formal event, so please dress your absolute best and come ready to impress.
If you are staying at our preferred hotel, then the Avalon will be a very short 5 minute walk. There is a parking lot next to the venue if you want to drive, and additional parking across the street. Please plan accordingly for rush hour traffic, which can be pretty dense in Los Angeles and Hollywood.
The YNOT Cam Awards is a production of YNOT Events L.L.C.
