Q&A with Ellie Idol:
How did you get started modeling and how long have you been doing it?
I started in 2006 for an amateur porn site called “Dorm Angels” where I filmed mostly still photos and solo scenes. I later made a modeling profile and was contacted by an agent where I went on to star in scenes from “Bang Bros”, “New Sensations”, “ATKingdom” 
and more! Now that I no longer work for mainstream companies; and not having to adhere to such a hectic travel schedule, I can really focus on making the best and most authentic content that meet my standards for cosplay porn. Seeing the community grow and feeling the support of so many other creative minds have really been inspiring to me. I love my job!
What are your fans like?
My fans enthusiastically support my work in any way they can, whether through clip sales, custom videos, tributes or gifts. Those who can’t contribute financially do their best in other ways like retweeting my Twitter posts and voting for me in contests. I tend to attract geeky fans because of my hobbies like video games and cosplay so it’s always fun connecting. Hell, I even get great recommendations on games or shows to check out, so I’m always up for those sorts of chats with my fans. Talk nerdy to me! ;P
What has modeling or performing meant for you and your lifestyle?
When I was performing for mainstream companies I traveled a lot to Miami and LA. While it was really fun getting to see the world and meeting new people, I missed home and I missed my own bed. I would be away for weeks to months at a time and for a homebody like me, it was hard. Now that I’m able to produce content without having to leave my city, I ADORE my job! I set my own hours, get to create content I personally feel passionate about and work with my local industry friends. What’s not to love? I’ve been an artist my whole life and the fact that I get to make art for a LIVING is more than a girl could ever ask for. The only downsides to working from home are distracting housework and people thinking they can drop in and visit me any time of the day, but if that’s the worst of it, I’d say life is pretty good!
What are you most passionate about?
I’d have to say I’m pretty passionate about content creation, making sure my scenes are as immersive as possible. I don’t do cosplay videos because they’re popular…I do them because I ENJOY the source material and want to exceed other fans’ expectations. I was a big anime fan growing up, though I rarely see the new series these days. When I do an anime binge, I find myself rewatching the old 90’s shows I grew up with. As of late, I mostly just game in my free time curled up with my kitties and partner in crime. When it’s con season, I craft new cosplays. In fact, I actually have a new outfit planned for PAX but shh, it’s a secret. 😉
Why did you choose your cam or clips platform, what do you like about it?
iWantClips is just fabulous! I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with them. I know I don’t just get special treatment due to being a top list model. I see them treat EVERY model very well no matter how much they’re earning. It’s refreshing to see a business do this. Everyone is important in their eyes. You can see that when you visit their booth at AVN because they go above and beyond for their producers. I’m very proud to be an IWC model!
